Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GRC) /(GFRC)

Petra Design GRC is prefabricated with fast cast cement reinforced with chopped strand glass fibers and cast from specialty molds. Relatively lightweight at 21/2 - 4 Ibs/square.ft. This product has a 3/8'' minimum shell thickness. Shapes can be made to almost any form and are easily installed by carpentry tradespeople using traditional tools and commonly available materials. Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP)

FRP is a composite material consisting of glass fibres embedded in a resin matrix. FRP is easy to install by site trades people and installation require normal job site tools and materials. Petra Design FRP is available in a Matte, gloss or textured finish and shipped pre-colored and finished or paint ready for site finishing. Also available in a faux stone finish. Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic or FRP is a product that is pound for pound stronger than steel, that can be moulded into any shape and is impervious to rot, mold, mildew and rodents. This product is extremely durable and is lighter and easier to handle than steel. Designed for exterior use FRP can also be used in interior projects where added compression strength and durability is required.
